sssatire is a series of weekly (as of 2024) sessions hosted virtually on zoom, each consisting of

• a free-write session, with a secret prompt inspired by a multitude of sources (however, please feel free to come and create art outside of written mediums!)

• time to share anything (anything!) we made in the last two weeks, depending on how we’re feeling.

• discussions of literature/art

• more surprises to be announced…

sessions happen on saturdays from 22:30 - 23:10 (London). (see the start time in your time zone here)

every event will have a dedicated theme, but you’re not obliged to follow any rules here! mess around and create what you wish :)

despite the name, the sessions are not satirical in nature; it’s merely a reference to a joke from the California State Summer School of the Arts (CSSSA). however, everyone is welcome to the sessions!

Each email newsletter will be posted on and only on the day before every session, consisting of the following:

• the poster/theme/plan for tomorrow’s session

• a summary of the last session and its contents (so you don’t have to worry about missing out!)

so don’t worry about getting spammed!
